About Me
Hi, I’m Megan Alderson, a recent NTU BA Illustration graduate from Yorkshire. Since graduation I have continued my creative practice, pushing to build my skills through more ambitious picturebook layouts. I love to create lavishly detailed little worlds through strong theming and carefully considered colour choices. My illustrations are infused with my interest in both interior and fashion design. I create engaging imagery through a mix of mediums, textures and patterns. The motifs of past eras often find their way into my work, with a passion for the styles of the 1960s, 70s and 80s dominating many of my creations.
